Indian man buys world’s most expensive pet dog worth INR 50 crore: All about the rare ‘wolfdog’

It is often said that a dog is man’s best friend, and rightly so. Dogs are one of the most popular pets people have across the world. And taking his love for dogs to the next level, a dog enthusiast from India has spent a whopping INR 50 crore to buy the world’s most expensive pet dog, as per reports.
Meet S Sathish, 51, a dog enthusiast from Bengaluru, India. In February 2025, Sathish spent INR 50 crore on a rare dog breed “wolfdog” named Cadabomb Okami. “I spent 50 million rupees on buying this pup because I am fond of dogs and like to own unique dogs and introduce them to India,” Sathish said, as per The Sun. Apart from Okami, Sathish is said to own more than 150 dog breeds that live in a seven-acre farm in Bengaluru and are taken care by six people.
Sathish earlier used to be a well-known dog breeder, however, he left that a few years ago. Now he makes oney by showing his dogs to enthusiastic crowds at events. Sathish claims that a video of him with Okami at a film’s premiere got over 3 million views online. He also shared that his unique pet dogs often get a lot of attention from people at paid events. “I spent money on these dogs because they are rare. Besides, I get enough money because people are always curious to see them… They take selfies and pictures. My dog and I get more attention than an actor at a movie screening, we both are crowd-pullers,” Sathish said, as per The Sun.
Here are some interesting things to know about Cadabomb Okami:
1. As per reports, Cadabomb Okami is the first of its kind and hence a rare “wolfdog” breed. As the name suggests, the dog is a cross between a wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd and hence called a “wolfdog”.
2. Sathish’s Cadabomb Okami was born in the US and is roughly eight months old. Its diet includes approximately 3 kg of meat daily.
3. Since Cadabomb Okami is part Shepherd, it has traits of a guard dog as well. The “wolfdog” is known for its protective instincts and intelligence — and it “should never be taken lightly,” as per the American Kennel Club.
4. Also, since Cadabomb Okami is partly a Caucasian Shepherd– these are muscular, fluffy dogs and originated in cold countries like Armenia, and parts of Russia, among others.
Apart from the rare “wolfdog” named Cadabomb Okami, Sathish also has a Chow Chow. For the unversed, Chow Chow is a rare dog breed that looks like a Qinling panda from China. Chow Chows are one of the most expensive pet dog breeds in the world, and Sathish is said to buy his for roughly INR 28 crore last year.
