John Becker was not the only person who came across an albino fawn in distress. In California, a truck driver experienced the same shock when he came across a white animal in the middle of the road. When he took a closer look, the truck driver found it to be another albino fawn, which was immediately named Spirit. The fawn was adopted by Kindred Spirits Fawn Rescue in Loomis, California, where experts were surprised at the uniqueness of this creature. Albino fawns are very much challenged because they do not have camouflage and are easy prey for predators. Spirit’s recovery journey is accompanied by special care and training to know how to forage and socialize with other deer.
