'Will deepen the colours of unity': PM Modi extends Holi wishes

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of Holi.
In a social media post on X, PM Modi emphasized the festival’s role in bringing people together and strengthening bonds of harmony.
“I wish you all a very Happy Holi. This festival filled with joy and happiness will infuse new enthusiasm and energy in everyone’s life and will also deepen the colours of unity among the countrymen,” PM Modi said.
President Draupadi Murmu also greeted the nation and urged the countrymen to fill the lives of all with the colours of continuous progress, prosperity, and happiness.
“Heartiest greetings to all countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours. This festival of joy gives the message of unity, love, and harmony,” Murmu said.
“This festival is also a symbol of India’s precious cultural heritage. Come, on this auspicious occasion, let us all together pledge to fill the lives of all the children of Mother India with the colours of continuous progress, prosperity, and happiness,” she added.
Union home minister Amit Shah also extended his wishes and prayed that the festival of colours bring increased prosperity, progress, and affluence in the lives of all.
“Heartiest greetings to all the countrymen on the festival of joy, enthusiasm, and colours, Holi,” Shah said.
“May this festival of colours bring increased prosperity, progress, and affluence in the lives of all of you,” he added.
Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also extended his wishes on the occasion of Holi and shared a post on his official ‘X’ handle.
