Here's how Abhishek Bachchan is prepping to take on Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand's 'King'

After Pathaan’s success, Siddharth Anand teams up with Shah Rukh Khan for King, an action thriller. The film features Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma in key roles. Pre-production is in full swing, with filming set to begin in May/June 2025.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Abhishek is set for a major transformation in King, where Siddharth Anand aims to showcase him in a completely new avatar. He will sport a distinct look with a lean, menacing physique. Abhishek has already begun training, preparing for an intense face-off with Shah Rukh Khan in the action thriller.

The report further mentioned that Abhishek is eager to undergo a transformation and impress the audience. Known for his versatility, this will be his first full-fledged negative role alongside Shah Rukh Khan. His lean look in King is expected to leave an impact, with Siddharth Anand planning a face-off between two strong on-screen personalities. SRK is also training intensely to achieve a specific physique for the film.

King is set to begin filming in Mumbai around May/June, followed by major schedules in Europe. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan, the film will also feature a top actress in a cameo. The makers are considering Deepika Padukone or Kareena Kapoor for a 15-20 day role as the female lead opposite SRK.
