MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Rishabh Pant steal the show with viral wedding dance performance on 'Dama Dam Mast Qalandar' - Watch

Three very beloved and popular Indian cricketers MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Rishabh recently set the stage on fire, not with their sports skills, but with their energetic dance performance. Don’t mistake them for celebrating their Champions Trophy win (of course, they are more than happy about it), but this dance performance was given by the cricketing legends at Rishab Pant’s sister Sakshi Pant’s wedding. And while our beloved sports stars were dancing like no one is watching, their video has gone viral on the internet.
The video captures the trio letting loose and dancing joyfully to the iconic Sufi classic ‘Dama Dam Mast Qalandar.’ The song was being live performed by an artist, at what appeared to be the sangeet ceremony of Sakshi Pant.
Everyone was dressed in their party and ethnic best, as they energetically took over the stage. The way these stars were immersed in the song’s melody took the internet by storm.
Though ‘Dama Dam Mast Qalandar’ is a spiritual Sufi qawwali, over the years its different renditions have made people dance to its tune. The song is highly popular in India, and artists from across the borders have composed and performed this melody for decades. Famous Pakistani singers like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Aziz Mian, Reshma, Abida Parveen, the Sabri Brothers, and more have given the song their signature touch. Similarly, Indian artists like Hans Raj Hans, the Wadali brothers, Rekha Bhardwaj, Harshdeep Kaur, Mika Singh with Yo Yo Honey Singh, Nooran Sisters, Alisha Chinai, Baba Sehgal and Alka Yagnik, and others have given their rendition of the song.
Circling back to the wedding, Sakshi is tying the knot with businessman Ankit Chaudhary. Their wedding festivities are taking place in Mussoorie, where these cricketers were seen in high spirits.
