Veteran all-rounder Mahmudullah has informed BCB Cricket Operations that he does not wish to continue his national contract beyond February 2025. As a result, he will be excluded from the list starting in March. Meanwhile, former captain Mushfiqur Rahim, who recently retired from ODIs, will be placed in Grade B from March onwards.

Batting all-rounder Mominul Haque, bowling all-rounder Mahedi Hasan, and pacer Khaled Ahmed were also included.
The contracts, effective from January 1, 2025, are divided into five categories:

  • A+ Category: Taskin Ahmed (sole recipient)
  • A Category: Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim
