Randeep Hooda unleashes fury as Ranatunga in Sunny Deol starrer 'Jaat': Watch

Actor Randeep Hooda has finally unveiled his character, ‘Ranatunga,’ a formidable antagonist, in an over 30-second video clip. On Monday, Randeep took to social media to share a teaser introducing his character, Ranatunga. The brief video commences with Hooda seated in a police station, exuding an aura of menace.
He begins by saying, “Mujhe mera naam bahut pyaara hai (my name means a lot to me),” showing how much his name matters to him. The scene then shifts to a powerful image of Hooda sitting outside in heavy rain, covered with a rough jute bag. With a sharp look in his eyes, he lights a cigarette, giving off a strong and intense vibe. The teaser ends with Ranatunga holding a knife firmly, ready for a deadly fight.

Sharing the teaser, Hooda captioned, “My name is #Ranatunga!! The stage is set for a ruthless face-off with the #JAAT GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON APRIL 10th.” He also acknowledged the film’s team, including action superstar Sunny Deol.

Fans appreciated and commented on the video by saying, “Mind-blowing, fantastic, jahkash.” Another said, “Wow, what a look.” A fan also said, “This is going to be huge, like Highway.”
The ‘Jaat’ teaser, released back in December 2024, promised explosive action with Sunny Deol leading the charge. The teaser also featured intense scenes, including characters crushed by dumbbells and flying police officers. Deol’s character is introduced as a menacing figure, initially chained before unleashing fury on his enemies. The action-packed sequences hint at thrilling stunts and dramatic confrontations, setting the stage for an electrifying cinematic experience.

‘Jaat’ boasts an impressive lineup of cast. Apart from Randeep Hood and Sunny Deol, the film also features Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra. ‘Jaat’ is scheduled for a grand release on 10 April 2025, coinciding with the festival of Baisakhi.
