Chhaava box office collection Day 24: Vicky Kaushal starrer continues to shine with the collection of Rs 520.55 crore in its 4th weekend

Based on the book of the same title, Chhaava, the story of Maratha warrior Chattarpati Sambhaji Maharaj, has left an indelible mark on the heart of the Indian audience. The movie, headlined by Vicky Kaushal, became 2025’s first Bollywood film to cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the Indian box office.
Right after its impressive opening, the movie hardly saw a bad day. The weekdays did record some lows, but the weekend earnings made up for the same. According to the Sacnilk report, though the movie saw a dip of 30 percent on Sunday, it managed to mint ₹11.5 Cr, in which ₹9 Cr came from Hindi and ₹ 2.5 Cr from Telugu (as per the rough data). This has taken the total collection of the movie to ₹ 520.55 Cr (Hindi – ₹ 512.3 Cr and Telugu – ₹8.25 Cr).
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie was initially only released in Hindi; however, considering the popularity and the kind of love it received, the makers then offered the audience a Telugu version.
Further, the movie appeared to benefit from the Women’s Day holiday as well; thus, on Saturday, with a rise of 91.43 percent, it collected ₹16.75 cr.
If we look at the weekly collection of the movie, it set a great record with a collection of
₹219.25 crore, followed by a business of ₹ 180.25 crore on week 2. Week 3 saw a dip in the business and the movie made ₹84.5 crore. In week 4, after 3 days, the movie has made around ₹37 crore.
Reacting to the movie’s success, Vicky Kaushal shared a post on his social media that read, “Thank you for your immense love.” It is noteworthy that Chhaava is currently Vicky Kaushal’s highest-earning film. The historical drama has surpassed the collections of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (₹ 244.14 crore), ‘Raazi’ (₹123.74 crore), ‘Sam Bahadur’ (₹ 93.95 crore), and ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ (₹ 88.35 crore).
