Dhanashree Verma’s cryptic Women’s Day post goes viral amid divorce with Yuzvendra Chahal: ‘Things will get better for us soon’

Dhanashree Verma, who has been in the news for her divorce with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, shared a cryptic message on Instagram for International Women’s Day. She wrote, “God is within her, she will not fall.” In her caption, she encouraged women to stay fearless, strong, and patient, adding, “Things will get better for us soon.” Many fans speculated that Dhanashree’s post was a subtle hint at her recent divorce from Yuzvendra Chahal.
Earlier, Yuzvendra also shared a cryptic post about ‘Karma’, which grabbed a lot of attention. He suggested that a person’s actions, whether good or bad, eventually come back to them.
Chahal recently shared new pictures of himself on Instagram, looking stylish in a black tee, grey coat, charcoal cargo pants, and white sneakers. However, it was his caption that caught everyone’s attention. He wrote, “Karma never loses an address” with an evil eye emoji, leading netizens to link it to his divorce from Dhanashree Verma.

Meanwhile, Dhanashree has been focusing on her work. Two weeks ago, she was spotted at Mumbai Airport, looking stylish and cheerful as she jetted off for work commitments. When asked how she was, she simply laughed and said, “Kaam pe jaa rahi hu”. She also took time to pose for a picture with a fan.
Earlier reports suggested that Dhanashree demanded Rs 60 crore as alimony from Chahal. However, her family strongly denied the claims. In a statement, they called the claims “baseless” and expressed outrage, stating, “No such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or offered.” They urged the media to fact-check and avoid spreading misinformation.
According to ABP News, Chahal and Dhanashree’s divorce proceedings began in February 2025, with the couple filing for divorce at the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai. Recently, they attended a counseling session as part of the process, citing compatibility issues and having lived apart for 18 months. Despite reports suggesting the divorce is finalised, Dhanashree’s lawyer denies this, stating the matter is still ongoing.
The duo got married on December 22, 2020. They met during the COVID-19 lockdown when Chahal took dance lessons from her. Their relationship blossomed quickly, and they got engaged in August 2020 before tying the knot a few months later.
