Zahan Kapoor reveals how he bonds with cousins Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor: '...we are a big, loud Punjabi family'

Zahan Kapoor recently opened up about his bond with his cousins Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and others.
In conversation with India Today, Zahan shared that while he comes from a big, loud Punjabi family that loves food, cinema, and storytelling, he takes pride in building his own identity in the industry. He values being recognized for his talent and hard work, emphasizing that he auditioned for his roles and does not take anything for granted. While people eventually learn about his Kapoor lineage, he believes that success ultimately depends on his own efforts and skills.
When asked about actors he admires beyond his family, Zahan Kapoor mentioned several talented contemporaries. He praised Adarsh Gourav for his dedication, highlighting his film Superboys of Malegaon. He also acknowledged Sparsh Srivastava from Laapataa Ladies, Aditya Raval, and established stars like Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Manoj Bajpayee, the late Irrfan Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, emphasizing that there is much to learn from all of them.After the massive OTT success, Zahan Kapoor admitted to feeling more nervous than before, as expectations have risen. However, he remains excited about exploring diverse stories, believing there is room for all kinds of narratives in the industry.

Zahan Kapoor also emphasized his deep love for theatre, describing it as the foundation of his journey as a performer and facilitator. He expressed his desire to explore storytelling in various forms, focusing not just on impactful narratives but also on honesty and curiosity in his craft.
