Hunter Biden cries homelessness, but his $3 million Malibu mansion is still standing
Current photos show the house still standing while the surrounding neighborhood was reduced to ashes.

Hunter Biden says he’s broke and unable to continue his lawsuit over alleged laptop hacking after wildfires supposedly made his $3 million Malibu rental “unlivable.” But current photos show the house still standing while the surrounding neighborhood was reduced to ashes.
Biden, 55, had been living in the four-bedroom home with his wife, Melissa, and son, Beau, when the Palisades Fire swept through in January. In a court filing Wednesday, he claimed the fire left him struggling to find a permanent residence and earn a living.
He argued his financial troubles—already worsened by slumping sales of his artwork and memoir—prevented him from continuing his lawsuit against former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler. “So, [Hunter] must focus his time and resources dealing with his relocation,” the filing said, reported the New York Post.

The Malibu neighborhood where Hunter Biden was living was ravaged by the wildfires from earlier this year.

President Joe Biden had initially feared the home was destroyed, telling reporters in January that his son’s property was “probably burned to the ground.” However, new images suggest otherwise, raising questions about the extent of any real damage.
Hunter, no stranger to luxury rentals, has leased multiple California homes since 2021—including a Venice Beach property where he was accused of leaving the place in disarray and skipping rent payments.
His lawyer declined to comment.
