Watch: Justin Trudeau gets emotional, says 'we got you, even on the last few days of govt'
Canadian PM Justin Trudeau in tears in one of his last presser

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau got emotional during a press conference Thursday as he addressed his government’s $10-a-day childcare policy after Donald Trump spent the week tormenting him with a tariff war in his waning days.
In a viral video, Trudeau could be seen in teary eyes while saying, “On a personal level, I made sure that every single day in this office, I put Canadians first and I have peoples’ backs and that’s why I’m here to tell you all that we got you, even in the last days of this government, we will not let Canadians down today and well into the future.”
“I’ve made sure that every single day in this office I put Canadians first, that I have people’s backs, and that’s why I’m here to tell you all, that we’ve got you. Even in the very last days of this government, we will not let Canadians down,” Trudeau said.
As the video went viral on social media, several netizens mocked him for having teary eyes during the conference. Some netizens connected his cry with the election that is soon going to take place and he might loose it.
The next Canadian election will be held no later than October 20, 2025.
“Justin Trudeau is a fraud. He didn’t cry when Canadian families were taxed into poverty. He didn’t cry when seniors were forced to die alone. He didn’t cry when he heard kids were in line at food banks across the country. He didn’t cry when he saw homelessness everywhere. He didn’t cry after he groped a female reporter. He didn’t cry after he physically assaulted a female MP. He didn’t cry when he silenced strong women who disagreed with him. He didn’t cry after he had a relationship with an underage female (child). He didn’t cry when he watched peaceful protestors being trampled. He didn’t cry after he mocked other cultures and wore blackface repeatedly. He didn’t cry when addiction rates soared – when fathers and mothers and children died. He didn’t cry when businesses closed and investment fled Canada. He didn’t cry after he divided Canadians and called us racist and misogynistic… He’s never put us first. He’s never had our backs. I can’t wait until Trudeau – the soulless embarrassment of Canada – is gone,” a user said.
One of the users called his cry “absolutely cringe and abysmal.” Another said, “Justin Trudeau crying as he lies into the camera again 🤣 Does he seriously think people have forgotten that he called in the military & had horses stampede over little old ladies peacefully protesting against dangerous vaccine mandates?”
Meanwhile, some netizens came out in the support of Trudeau. One of the users said, “You clearly don’t understand the gravity of the situation nor Trudeau’s love for Canada. The fact that you are mocking or implying that Trump made him cry, shows how unpatriotic you are.”
Another said, “I absolutely believe that Trudeau puts Canadians first. I have never doubted this. Unfortunately, his abilities are lacking and his intelligence limited, especially with his disastrous immigration policies. Don’t cry, boy.”
