Donald Trump comments on Sunita Williams’ hair, says people who are struck in space should love each other!

Donald Trump has sent a word of encouragement and hope to Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore who are stuck in space since June 2024. ‘We’re coming up to get you,’ Trump said from the Oval Office, when asked if he had a message for the astronauts and accused former President Joe Biden for leaving them stranded on the space station.
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore had embarked on a 8-day space mission in June 2024, but due to technical faults in the Boeing Starliner could not return to the earth.

“Maybe they will fall in love”

Speaking about the duration for which the astronauts have been stranded, Donald Trump cracked joke saying, “I hope they like each other, maybe they’ll love each other, I don’t know. But they’ve been left up there. Think of it.”
Sunita Williams is married for 20 years now and Wilmore has a wife and two daughters.

“Good solid head of hair she’s got”

Trump also spoke about Sunita Williams’ hair. He described her as the ‘woman with the wild hair’ after her video with her hair floating above her head in space’s zero gravity went viral.
‘Good solid head of hair she’s got … there’s no games with her hair,’ the US President said.

When will Sunita Williams return to the Earth?

As of now, it is reported that the astronauts are expected to return to Earth on March 19 or 20. They are likely to return aboard a Space X vehicle.
NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore have been stuck aboard the International Space Station (ISS) since June 2024 due to technical issues with the Boeing Starliner spacecraft. Originally planned as an 8-day test mission, their journey has unexpectedly stretched to over eight months, raising concerns about their safe return.
The Boeing Starliner, which was supposed to bring them back, suffered multiple malfunctions, preventing a timely return. NASA has been working on solutions, and reports suggest that Williams and Wilmore could finally return to Earth on March 19 or 20, 2025, possibly aboard a SpaceX vehicle instead.
Both astronauts, however, remain focused on their mission. Sunita Williams, a veteran astronaut of Indian descent, has spent over 300 days in space across multiple missions. As the world watches, NASA is making final preparations to bring them home safely after their unexpected extended stay in orbit.
