Alia Bhatt reveals how Raha reacted when she was dancing to a Shah Rukh Khan song from 'Mohabbatein'; wants daughter to watch THESE films from her career

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor became parents to a daughter in November 2022. Now that their daughter Raha Kapoor is two years old, she’s actually getting just as popular as her parents. She’s already a favourite of the paps and one sees her waving at them or giving flying kisses to the cameras. Meanwhile, now in an interview, Alia was asked if Raha has watched her or Ranbir Kapoor’s movies.
Reacting to it, Alia said on Jay Shetty’s podcast, “She’s too small to watch a film. But she’s watched multiple songs of mine and Ranbir. Now we are slowly exposing her to other people’s songs. She has this feel that every thing is our song. Infact, the other day. I was doing a dance step from Shah Rukh Khan’s song from Mohabbatein. So Raha asks, ‘Mama your song?’ Then she says, ‘Mama papa’s song?” I said, ‘No this is Shah Rukh Khan’s song.’ She was not shocked.”
Alia also was asked about her films that she wants Raha to watch when she grows up. “When she is much older and in her own time, I’d want her to watch films which shaped me up as an actor and the experiences I learnt from. For example, a film like Highway or Gangubai Kathiawadi or ‘Raazi’. I’ve realised that I don’t have many child-friendly films. But now I am on the hunt for kid-friendly movies. I want her to enjoy films. I know ‘Brahmastra’ is a film which kids like a lot. Children like songs. My memory is more so of music, when I grew up.”
Alia revealed that song and dance are a huge part of a child’s memory and she also feels grateful that she can sing to her daughter. “I have a decent voice,” smiled Alia.
