Pradeep Ranganathan and Kayadu Lohar’s latest comedy entertainer ‘Dragon’ continues its strong box office run, crossing the Rs 74.75 crore mark in India net collections. The film, which opened to positive word-of-mouth and strong weekend earnings, has maintained a steady performance into its second week.

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, ‘Dragon’ collected Rs 2.25 crore on its eleventh day (Monday) across all languages. The film had already collected Rs 72.50 crore in its first ten days, with strong contributions from both Tamil and Telugu versions.

Return Of The Dragon – Official Trailer

Breaking down the week-wise performance, ‘Dragon’ had a solid first-week collection of Rs 50.3 crore, with Tamil contributing Rs 40.85 crore and Telugu adding Rs 9.45 crore. The second weekend saw a notable boost, with Saturday (Rs 8.5 crore) and Sunday (Rs 9 crore) registering strong numbers before the usual Monday dip.
In terms of occupancy, ‘Dragon’ recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 19.70% on its eleventh day. Chennai remained the strongest market with a 25.75% overall occupancy, while Bengaluru and Madurai showed moderate engagement at 12.50% and 19.75%, respectively. Meanwhile, the Telugu version saw a 16.29% overall occupancy, with Hyderabad and Vizag leading the regional markets.
Directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, Dragon features a star-studded cast, including Kayadu Lohar, Anupama Parameswaran, Mysskin, and Gautham Vasudev Menon.
ETimes review
We gave the film a rating of 4 out of 5 stars and our official review reads, “If you remember well enough, a lot of coincides, magic, and second chances happen in Oh My Kadavule, too but the actual change happens in the characters’ real life, where every action attracts an equal and opposite reaction. In fact, this angle – where the film wanders into even a dreamy land but doesn’t lose touch with reality – is what made OMK relatable, emotional, and special. Retaining the same essence, Ashwath Marimuthu’s second outing is also a fun, emotional, and fully charged ride.”
As Dragon continues its second-week run, all eyes are on its lifetime collections and whether it can breach the Rs 100 crore milestone in the coming days.
