Hailing from a humble background, Rishabh Pant’s rise to success is a story of grit and determination. And whenever life has thrown challenges at him, Pant has faced them with courage and emerged stronger. And so, one can learn to be mentally strong from Rishabh Pant.
Devender Sharma, who was the assistant to Tarak Sinha– a veteran Indian cricket coach, once shared how Rishabh Pant showed great will and professionalism when his father died unexpectedly. For the unversed, Pant lost his father to cardiac arrest in 2017. Recalling the incident, Sharma was quoted by The Week: “(Pant) is mentally strong – even when his father died, he came back two days after the cremation to play an IPL game and scored runs.” Back then, Pant had scored a half-century for Delhi Capitals (formerly Daredevils) during the IPL match, thus showing his determination to stay strong.
