Ricci Wynne, a 39-year-old social media influencer known for his controversial videos exposing the darker side of San Francisco, has been indicted on charges of producing child pornography. Federal documents filed on Tuesday reveal that Wynne faces two counts of producing child pornography, in addition to human trafficking charges from his November arrest.
Wynne allegedly coerced two minors into engaging in sexually explicit acts, which he filmed on his iPhone. Prosecutors believe he intended to profit from the disturbing footage. Currently held in federal prison, Wynne was initially arrested at San Francisco International Airport alongside a woman, on suspicion of pimping and pandering. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges.
During the arrest, police seized Wynne’s iPhone, which contained the incriminating videos. Wynne was already on probation following a 2019 conviction for firearm possession and cocaine distribution.
Despite his criminal past, Wynne claimed to have reformed, using his experiences to highlight the crime and drug issues in San Francisco. His videos, often shared on conservative platforms, depicted drug use and homelessness in the city. Wynne, a vocal Trump supporter, gained significant attention for his content.
In a 2023 interview with KRON4, Wynne said, “I changed my life and am trying to do something good for the community. San Franciscans need to stand up for our city. By running away, you don’t do anything.”
Since his November arrest, Wynne has not posted on social media, and his YouTube account has been removed for violating community guidelines. If convicted on the new charges, Wynne faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and at least five years of supervised release.
